In addition to our energy-efficient design and systems, we also prioritize eco-friendly resources and responsible forest management practices. We use sustainable materials, such as wood fiber insulation, in the construction of our cabins, designed to be adaptable and flexible, providing sustainable and comfortable spaces.
Energy-efficient design and systems
Our modular cabins are designed to maximize natural light, which not only reduces the need for artificial lighting but also provides a bright and inviting living space. Large windows and open floor plans allow for plenty of natural light to enter the cabins, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
To further increase energy efficiency, we also use window insulation to reduce heat loss and gain through the windows. This helps to reduce energy consumption and associated greenhouse gas emissions, helping to lower the overall carbon footprint of the cabins. In addition, the window insulation helps to improve indoor comfort by reducing drafts and air leaks, minimizing the need for heating or cooling.
Eco-friendly materials and responsible forest management
We only use materials that have a low environmental impact and are either recycled, recyclable or biodegradable. One exemple of our eco-friendly materials is wood fiber insulation, a type of insulation made from wood fibers that are derived from responsibly managed forests. The wood fibers are processed and compressed to form insulation panels or rolls, which provide excellent thermal insulation properties, creating the ideal temperature in our cabins, weather is winter or summer. In addition, wood fiber insulation is a sustainable option, made from renewable resources, being recycled or composted at the end of its life. Also, the exterior of the cabins are made from locally-sourced FSC-certified timber, reducing the environmental impact of transportation.
